About:

Brother Ronald Bowers has been reading the King James Version Bible to our family for the past 3 years, currently doing 3 streams a week.

The heart of Fables & Truths is the live stream. Every Tuesday and Thursday we meet at 5 AM Eastern (4 AM Central) on YouTube (@ronaldbowers6044) and TikTok (@readf.n.t). Also, on Saturdays, Brother Ron does a Sabbath lesson at 12:30 PM Eastern, 11:30 AM Central. We ask that you bring a pad, a pen, a King James Version Bible and an open mind (This may be an interactive live stream, but please keep all questions on topic and do not spam the chat with scriptures. If you have a question not regarding the topic, please feel free to send it to questions@fablesandtruths.org, and it will be answered!).

Denomination? Where is that written?

One of the first things people tend to ask is "What denomination are you?"

We have no "denomination", we are not currency. We worship God and his Son Jesus Christ, following His commandments, modeling our path after His as best as we can "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"

We believe that you must have a solid foundation built upon the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Gospels, the Epistle Letters and the Old Testament. We follow scripture:

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

And what did Jesus say immediately after stating "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." :

15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

Law?

Many will say the law is dead, you don't need the commandments...

13 For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;

If "the doers of the law shall be justified" and the Gentiles have "A law unto themselves", do you think maybe you should walk that path?

Sin no more

What is Sin? What is the definition of Sin? According to the Apostle John:

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

We aren't "hedging our bets" by following the law. God forbid! We are walking His path and what better example to follow than that of the Son of Man.

What about Paul?!

And just as we used Romans to justify our beliefs, others use it to justify their unbeliefs!! Apostle Peter warned of Apostle Paul's words being taken out of context:

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

We do follow Paul's epistles, others would swear we don't. If you go read Romans or any other of the epistles and replace every instance of the word "sin" with its definition from John, "transgression of the law", things will start to make a lot more sense!

Traditions of who?

"Christianity" has taken blame for a lot of evil in the past 1,700 years and that is because "Christians" are not following Christ or the Bible, they are following Pagan traditions of men and altered commandments. Does it not say:

4 You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.

On March 7th, 321 AD, Emporer Constantine issued a civil decree making Sunday a day of rest from labor.

The rest is history...

We cannot follow a God that would have us go to Church on a Sunday and eat hotdogs at the cookout on the "Sabbath". We follow the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, the God of Israel!

So that makes us?

We are a group of like-minded individuals that read the King James Version Bible together and follow the instructions given by God. All of our doctrine comes from the book. We follow scripture and do not add to it, alter it or put our opinions into it. Apostle Peter puts it best:

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

If you would like to sort out the Fables & Truths surrounding the Bible and learn the difference between the traditions of men and the traditions of God, then please feel free to join our lessons!

Catch up on our lessons (over 170 on this site alone, there are more on YouTube and this number grows every week!) on the Verses section of the site. Not only does it have the Video Stream from prior lessons, but it has all scripture from those lessons preloaded into a KJV Bible beneath the video, just use the drop-down menu to switch verses!

I hope we were able to edify you! Please send any questions or comments to feedback@fablesandtruths.org.

If you do not have a Bible please let us know, we will send you a KJV Bible. Please consider donating so we can continue doing this service.

About:

Our family reads the bible together, learning important lessons about what Salvation is, The Requirements of Christian Safety (T.R.O.C.S.), how to be humble and more.

"It is written Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God"

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."

Following His commandments (including Saturday Sabbath), following dietary law, full water baptism, covering/uncovering head for prayer depending on gender, following scripture as IT IS WRITTEN, that is what we do!
